Sing African/ Music - This works with children of higher ability and is usually accompanied with a percussion instrument. We can also provide African Traditional Instruments like Adungu (Bow Harp), Amadinda (Xylophone or marimba) and Akogo (Thumb Piano) which all produce calm beautiful sounds to accompany the singing. Some of these instruments have strings and are played by plucking while others are percussion instruments so they are hit.
Normally such workshops are carried out on a long term as a project in which pupils can showcase a performance at the end i.e. 1 hour a week for 6 weeks as the minimum period. However, the student can still can have a very insightful and beneficial taster even for an hour's session.
